Overview

The Conceptβ–Ύ

Jerome Baker is already on Long Island. He lives at Planet Nugg in Farmingdale. So naturally, when Jerome Baker comes to New York, the first stop is Farmingdale. That's the joke. That's also the truth. We open there, lean into it fully, and use the Long Island segment as the launch of a larger drip campaign that builds to a Manhattan finale.

Two shoot days. Five to six scenes. One giant purple bong. A small tight crew, Sanja as the primary on-camera companion, Sasha directing, David producing, Planet Nugg providing the camera operator, and support from the Madden Hauskinect intern for lifting and drone. Dan for logistics, muscle, and keeping Jerome safe in the field.

Everything shot here becomes the opening chapter. Each scene drops as its own post over a 2–4 week drip, building anticipation for the Manhattan content. The beach is the Long Island finale β€” the last post before the "Jerome's going to the city" tease.

JBD is launching in New York with a Gonzo-style documentary series following Jerome Baker (the 5.5-ft handblown purple glass bong) as he visits iconic NY locations for the first time. RCC is the first and only Jerome Baker partner in Rockland County β€” and stays exclusive there for many months. The launch is a one-day Grateful Dead-style parking-lot festival, "Shakedown Street Rockland," on Saturday June 13. In the run-up we bring the giant purple bong (now with a built-in fog machine + internal lights) to a couple of local Rockland spots for guerrilla content β€” same playbook as the Long Island shoot, treating Baker like an out-of-towner seeing the area for the first time.
